Retreat Experience
WAI RETREAT | JUNE 19-21, 2026 | NASHVILLE, TN
The Schedule
FRIDAY | ARRIVAL & FOUNDATION
Camp kicks off Friday afternoon with arrival and check-in, followed by dinner together and our Opening Night Session. The evening includes games, live worship, and a teaching focused on identity and laying a strong foundation for the weekend. Campers then break into their assigned small groups to meet their athlete leaders and teammates before heading to cabins for the night.
SATURDAY | GROWTH, COMPETITION & COMMUNITY
Saturday begins with breakfast and a morning session featuring a live Athlete Panel & Q&A, where professional athletes share real stories and answer camper-submitted questions.
The afternoon is packed with team competitions, games, and free time, including sports, tournaments, and lake time. After dinner, campers gather for our Saturday Night Main Session, with worship and a powerful message designed to challenge and encourage. The night ends in small groups—often the most meaningful conversations of the weekend
SUNDAY | REFLECTION & SEND-OFF
The final morning includes breakfast, a short devotional, and a time of reflection before campers depart by 8:00 AM. Campers leave encouraged, challenged, and reminded of who they are in Christ.

Camp Policies & Safety
-
The safety of every camper is our highest priority. Campers are supervised at all times by trained staff and leaders, and structured check-in/out procedures are followed throughout the weekend. Housing, activities, and transportation are managed to maintain secure and accountable environments.
-
All adult volunteers and leaders complete an application and screening process, including background checks. Staff receive training on supervision expectations, communication boundaries, safety protocols, and appropriate conduct with students prior to camp.
-
Medical information is collected during registration. Basic first aid is available onsite, and staff are prepared to respond to health concerns or emergencies. Parents/guardians will be contacted immediately if medical attention beyond routine care is required.
-
Campers are expected to treat others with respect and contribute to a positive, encouraging environment. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in parent contact and possible dismissal from camp.
-
Parents/guardians provide primary contact information during registration. In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, designated contacts will be notified promptly. Camp leadership maintains access to emergency services if needed.
-
Families are asked to disclose medical conditions, allergies, or special considerations during registration so appropriate accommodations can be made when possible. We follow current health guidance and work with families to ensure campers’ safety and wellbeing.
