What We Do?

Our Mission

Who am I Ministries was created to help reshape the way High School boys see themselves. We are focused on teaching these boys that who they are in the eyes of God is far more important than who they are in the eyes of the world. Romans 12:2 states this, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” We are committed to teaching high school boys what living this verse out in your daily walk with Christ is like. There are so many instances where high school boys find their identity in the sports they play, the girls they date, and the cars they drive. Our focus is to help shift that mindset into what a life surrendered to Christ is like and how the things of this world can only bring you so much happiness. While those things can be great, they can also fade away. Who are you when those things fade away?

We have designed this camp for rising Junior and Senior High School Boy Athletes. What sport? Any sport! Everything done at camp will have applications that are not specific to one sport. You might ask, “Does my son have to be the star player on his team?” Absolutely not! We are committed to serving these boys no matter their “status” on a team. Your son is a child of God and that is good enough for us!

Our goal at camp will be to bring together high school athletes with professional athletes of various sports and show the younger generation what it looks like to play a sport at the highest level while maintaining an identity in Christ. We will bring in guest speakers who have played sports at the highest level and found themselves in situations where their only answer was to turn to God. They, along with our camp leaders(current and former professional athletes), will share their experiences in sports and in life to help this younger generation see what it can look like to have your identity rooted in something that will never fade away.
